Just a few hours ago Alaska Airlines began a promotion where you can receive 10% off flights between Kahului and Seattle, San Jose, Oakland, Sacramento or San Diego. Now Hawaiian just began a similar promotion with the addition of Portland and Las Vegas. The plus with Hawaiian is they are offering the discount to their lowest available fare unlike Alaska and this discount is available into the weekend. In the earlier post we mention to expect more deals between Alaska and Hawaiian, and here it is. The Maui - West Coast fare war has begun! Again expect more deals in the coming days from both sides.
