This is a great deal from American for the New Year! Right now American Airlines is offering flights between San Diego and Maui for only $116 each way. This is by far the best deal from American this year. I would not be surprised to see both Alaska and Hawaiian match this fare very soon.

Continental Airlines Announces New Hilo Routes

Earlier this afternoon, Continental Airlines announced two new routes from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Hilo on the Big Island. This is a big announcement for Hilo as they currently do not have any non-stop flights to the U.S. mainland. The last carrier to serve Hilo from the U.S. mainland was ATA. Continental has not offered any great fare sales for this new route, however we expect to see one very soon and as always we will be the first to report it.
