Allegiant Air Announces Flights Between Honolulu and Los Angeles from $96 Each Way!

Allegiant Air known for flying into secondary markets has made a surprised announcement this morning. Beginning October 30, 2013 they will offer a twice weekly flight between Honolulu and Los Angeles with fares starting at $95.99 each way. Honolulu to Los Angeles is the most popular domestic route (in terms of passengers carried) that is currently served by airlines. Allegiant has been known for there on-time performance issues however if you have flexible travel plans this is a great deal. We will see if this will cause other carriers to offer lower fares to LAX. Availability of this fare is excellent however tickets must be purchased prior to July 17, 2013 for travel to be completed by February 13, 2014.

 

Note: In order to get the $95.99 tickets must be purchased using a debit card. If a credit card is used the ticket price is $99.99 which is still a great deal.

Hawaiian Airlines Announces Non-Stop Service To Taipei, Taiwan! - Update

Back in the beginning of December we told about Hawaiian's announcement for service to Taipei, Taiwan. Today Hawaiian began selling seats on this much anticipated flight. Beginning July 9, subject to government approval, flight HA 807 to Taipei will depart Honolulu International Airport at 1:55 a.m. every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Beginning July 10, flight HA 808 to Honolulu will depart Taipei International Airport at 8:55 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Fares begin at $650.00 plus taxes each way.
