Asian budget carrier Scoot announced its first-ever route to the United States last month.
The airline is the low cost carrier of Singapore Airlines. They will begin flying from Honolulu on December 19, 2017.Scoot will fly non-stop from Honolulu to Osaka/Kansai, Japan, with continuing service to its main hub in Singapore . Passengers traveling between Honolulu and Singapore will have a stopover in Osaka of about 70 minutes.
Introductory fares on the new route were on sale for as little as $80 one way to Osaka and $200 to Singapore if travel is between December 19 and December 25, 2017, though regular fares will be higher. For travel between January 1, 2018 thru May 31, 2018, Scoot will offer a promotional fare of $150 one way to Osaka and $250 to Singapore.
Scoot's Honolulu-Osaka-Singapore service will operate four times a week on Boeing 787 dreamliner aircraft.
